Confidential-amount transfers on Solana

Send value.
Keep the amount private.

Veilbox is a confidential transfer layer where the amount you send isn't published in the clear on-chain. You keep your keys; the figure stays between you and your recipient.

Early software. Building on devnet first — mainnet transfers are not enabled yet.

// how it works

Four steps, one sealed envelope.

You stay in control of your keys the whole way. Veilbox wraps the transfer amount in a cryptographic commitment so the public ledger records that a transfer happened — not how much. It hides the figure; it does not hide that a transaction exists.

1

Compose

Connect your wallet and choose a recipient and amount on devnet. Your keys never leave your wallet — Veilbox is non-custodial.

2

Seal

The amount is encoded into a commitment by the on-chain program. The figure is never written to the public ledger by this interface.

3

Transfer

You sign a transaction that moves value to the recipient. Observers see that a confidential transfer settled, not its size.

4

Open

The recipient opens the envelope with their own view key and sees the amount. What they do next is up to them and their usual tools.

// security & trust

Non-custodial by design. Honest about the rest.

You hold your keys

Veilbox never takes custody of your funds or private keys. Every state-changing action is a transaction you sign in your own wallet.

Logic on-chain

The commitment and transfer logic belongs in an auditable Solana program — not hidden in this website. The frontend only prepares transactions and reads public state.

Devnet first

We test on devnet before anything touches mainnet. When mainnet transfers are enabled it will be stated plainly here — not quietly switched on.

Known limitations — please read

  • Amount privacy ≠ anonymity. Veilbox hides the transfer amount. It does not hide that a transfer occurred, nor make you anonymous or immune to blockchain analysis. Sender, recipient, timing and off-chain behavior can still leak information.
  • Not audited yet. No third-party security audit is complete. Do not rely on Veilbox to protect significant value until audits and program addresses are published here.
  • Devnet only. Mainnet transfers are not enabled. Anything you see here runs against test networks with no real value.
  • No Pump.fun support claimed. Veilbox does not provide private Pump.fun buys or sells, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Pump.fun or any other project. Any integration would be announced only after it exists and has been tested.
  • Use responsibly and lawfully. You are responsible for complying with the laws and tax rules that apply to you. Privacy is a right, not a shield for illegal activity.

Sample data · devnet preview

The explorer shows that confidential transfers are settling — timing and status — without exposing amounts. The rows below are illustrative sample data, not real user activity. A live devnet explorer is coming soon.

Amounts, addresses and view keys are intentionally never shown here. Veilbox's interface does not publish confidential amounts or protected keys.

// protocol transparency

Privacy you can verify.

Privacy tools earn trust by being open about what they are — and honest about what isn't ready yet. Here's exactly where Veilbox stands today. Nothing below is placeholder marketing: if it isn't live, it says so.

// technology stack

Built on a modern, modular foundation.

The interface is a typed React app; the confidentiality protocol sits behind a modular adapter so the cryptographic layer can evolve independently of the UI. The frontend never invents cryptography — it talks to the on-chain program through the adapter.

Adapter, not hard-wire

A single protocol adapter isolates every call into the confidentiality program. Swapping or upgrading the underlying scheme doesn't require rewriting the app — and keeps experimental cryptography out of production paths.

Read-only by default

This site reads public chain state and prepares transactions for you to sign. It holds no secrets, stores no view keys, and performs no privileged action on your behalf.

// the goal

Transfers that are yours
to disclose, on your terms.

Veilbox aims to make confidential transfers simple, verifiable and upfront about their limits. No overpromises. No fake numbers. Just a tool that respects that the amount you send is your business.
